Guest enyalius Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) Hey, all. I was wondering if anyone could point me to a few things I have been looking to be able to do on my i910 running a cooked Windows Phone 6.5 Professional? Pandora/Slacker Podcast downloader Google Voice (can't seem to get iDialer working...) Good turn-by-turn GPS. I will add more as I think of them. Thanks in advance! Guest pules Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 This version of pandora works on my cooked 6.5 rom (currently using v3 of this rom) check out AmazeGPS or Waze: to go I love AmazeGPS so far. Will check out Waze on my 60 mile commute tomorrow morning. Also, if you're into running or biking and want to keep track of your runs/cycles, def check out GpsCycleComputer_3.114pandora_1_.cabamAzeGPS_1_.CABGpsCycleComputer_3_1_.114_1_.CAB
Guest enyalius Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) I'm actually running the Triple Optical ROM by the same guy, which seems to be very close. I'll check these out now. Thanks! Any other ideas? EDIT: Also, thanks for that Pandora CAB, but it seems to have the same problem that a Pandora cab I tried a while ago did: the audio quality was horrible... Any ideas/suggestions? Edited October 19, 2009 by enyalius
Guest pules Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 check out this post and this one regarding some cool apps. I highly recommend Skyfire for web browsing, of course google maps (the rom you're using already has it installed) and if you're into twitter, moTweet as far as pandora sounding crappy, maybe it's your wireless provider? have you tried using your Wi-Fi connection? Pandora sounds as fine as it could sound. It's not CD quality, but it's aiight.PPC_moTweets_131_AS.ARM720.CABSkyfire_PPC.CAB

You know the bitrate must be set ridiculously low when I can stream uninterrupted with a 1x connection. It's got to be something like 32Kbps. And no, it doesn't sound any different when connected to EVDO or Wi-Fi. :) Anyone who thinks this app sounds good wouldn't know good audio if it stabbed them in the ear drum. I know it doesn't allow you to select the artists you like, but Resco Radio has some stations with really good quality.

You may have to raise the buffer to keep up with some stations.
