End key

Ok, running sectors

23064 Hades: M2Dv2,

Loving the rom but only issue i cant seem to wok out is how to get straight to the home screen when you push the end key,

EG: On the older versions of M2D you could work it like this, Im on the weather (or any tab) tab but want to go straight back to the home screen i just push the end key and im back in a flash to view the time calander etc,

Iv seen a few other people ask about a fix/reg edit but to no reply so im opening this topic to hopefully find a answer or a fix

So any answer or suggestions would be much helpfull not just to me but to other's

What I would try is a registry tweak. I know under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Keys] there are values for different hardware buttons. You may find one there that controls the end key function. (I'm at work now so I can't check)

iv got a folder called 112 and default (default has no string set)

in the 112 folder iv got default and open both again with no strings set ?

should this be right ?

If I remember correctly, 112 is the left soft key, and 113 is the right soft key.. There aren't any others? :) (i'm going totally off memory here, so I could be wrong)

You can assign it with AE Button Plus :)

Theres no 113 folder only 112 but there appears to be nothing in the 112 folder only empty values

im a little lost on this subject but should this be the folder to edit

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\htc

i ask this as my concern is that editing the

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Keys]

will result in editing the keys for all actions like hanging up on a phone call, but im thinking that you will know what you on about lol

but im guessing the today part in the location goes for all home screen ?

also it works in titanuim if push the end key it scrolls to the clock

any one got any ideas, iv been reading on xda for days but still cant find a clear answer, i think it might be something to do with the manila.exe
