HTC Hero - Syncing all contacts not only my contacts

Hi.

I have updated my HTC Hero with the latest ROM 9T-mobile ROM) and I have this issue now, people widget in HTC hero sync's all contacts from google not only the 'My contacts'.

I looked around this issue on google and found some answers saying go to -> People -> Groups -> Press menu -> Select Sync Groups and deselect all contacts and select my conacts.

The issue I have is I don't see 'Sync Groups' at all. All I see in groups is Add group and Delete group. (I have connected my device to googlemail when I first turned my phone and also did the same thing after the ROM update.

Any help is appreciated.

people --> groups --> press the menu button --> press Sync groups --> deselect sync all contacts and reselect my contacts.

that's how's i've just done it running modaco 2.6
