Guest protochip Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 (edited) Dear Friends, Here is the latest phone part update for i900. I made it exe with i900executer from phone.bin and tested by me with my i900 with kunachi 23071 rom. So this exe file only updates the phone part of i900. I had PUEI1 installed before this update. AFAIK, XBIC1 is newer than PUEI1. Hope this helps... Download i900XBIC1PHONE: i900XBIC1PHONE.exe - 16.52MB Best Regards, EDIT : IF ANYONE CAN CONFIRM THAT WHETER XBIC1 IS NEWER THAN PUEI1 OR NOT? Guest WAIKIKI728 Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Waikiki, enriqxxx's rom at htcspain have it since his first rom. I know...but i am just..surprised...i really thought this was not the last update... However enriquez didn´t include the phone part in his roms so if someone wants to update the phone part this must be the way to do it..... Let´s see what the experts say.... P.D.:Sorry for the off topic about enriquez....
Guest sinancetinkaya Posted October 21, 2009 Report Posted October 21, 2009 Be carefull about updating phonepart. If anything goes wrong, you may brick your phonepart and you can't repair it unless you send it repair service.

Download i900XBIC1PHONE: i900XBIC1PHONE.exe - 16.52MB Best Regards, As far as i know XBIC is the latest OFFICIAL rom/phone part released on stock phones (think it's nordic). DXID and PUIE and DXIF i think are all unofficial, unrealeased roms and phone parts, but should be newer according to the letter system. I don't know what the differences are between them all, but if you're happy with your excisting one i don't whink it's worth changing..

Dear WAIKIKI728, You will not loose any data if you just flash the PHONE PART. So feeel free to try it. And yes i agree to you if any of the masters here can confirm if this is the latest phone firmware or not... Best Regards...
Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I'm tempted to try this as my phone part is the very first version it came with, the reception is very poor despite o2 normally being good in my area. .... but don't want to brick the phone so please report back anyone else who dare try it.
Guest leap_ahead Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) its the last OFFiCIAL release on june or Jule ..After Is DXID1 and PUIE1.. Edited October 22, 2009 by leap_ahead
Guest djsolidsnake86 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 its the latest OFFiCIAL release on june or Jule ..After Is DXID1 and PUIE1.. what is the latest?
Guest gdrijver Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 The latest phone part (radio) I have found and have been using is PUIE1. I have not been able to find DXIF1 although kuanchai's rom's are supposedly based on that. The only difference I have noticed in switching to PUIE1 has been a slightly better reception in elevators etc and no more annoying "clicks" while being connected on the phone with somebody. If anybody has a download link to DXIF1 phone part, I woulo be interested in trying it out G
Guest natzakaria Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 has anyone besides the Thread Starter tried this?
Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Yeah anyone? I'm getting a HUGE battery drain during calls (using MS 3.5 incidentally) Could do with updating phone part in order to eliminate that as the cause.
Guest dannych99 Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 I have flashed XXIB2, XBIC1, DXID1, PUIE1, ZHIE1,and BUIB1... There are not big difference. Depending on network condition, your location, etc., there are slightly different. IB1, IB2, ID1,IE1 has quick GPS location fix. IB1, IB2 takes longer time to get altitude than ID1 and IE1. IC1 has smaller in-call volume. I prefer ZHIE1.

Guest Unisoldrew Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 OK, just updated to PUIE1 successfully using Grand Prix. Will see how I go with this for now. Thanks.
Guest jocaferlo Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) EDIT : IF ANYONE CAN CONFIRM THAT WHETER XBIC1 IS NEWER THAN PUEI1 OR NOT? Are you refering to PUIE1? According to this (a little down the principle) PUIE1 or ZHIE1 is newer than XBIC1. Regards. Edited October 27, 2009 by jocaferlo
