Guest Sabre2 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Hi When I first pair my Sony Bluetooth stereo headphones (HBH-DS980) they work fine. If I just turn the headset off and back on again it re-pairs. But if I turn Bluetooth off and on again, I never get past 'Connecting...'. I have to unpair and rescan and re-pair, after which it works fine - until I turn it off again. I'm on MoDaCo Custom ROM 2.5 Core, radio 63.18.55.06FU_6.35.07.08. Anyone have the same issue, or a fix? Cheers John
Guest piflechien Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 This problem has been introduced with the new 2.73 ROM and concerns every BT headset not only your sony ericsson. Try this: Switch everything off (headset and bt on your hero) then turn on your headset, wait a little (10sec) then turn the BT on on the hero, it might help to connect (work for me)

However if I do what you suggested it connects ok - I'll just have to remember the right order. Cheers John
Guest msiviter Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 I have a similar problem on my Sony car stereo, It reconnects each time to the headset profile but forgets that is meant to connect to media streaming too. Another problem is that the HTC audio player will not 'let go' of the audio streaming. I've had to stop using the HTC player as it sounds like an old cassette player with the tape wound too tight. The music keeps slowing down. I've gone back to Meridian (an excellent player) that doesn't suffer with that problem but when I attempt to control it using the buttons on the car stereo faceplate the HTC audio player is spawned. I didn't suffer from this with my Samsung Galaxy. Any ideas?

With my Motorola T605 car kit and (any of my) other phones, I can turn them on in any order and they pair up - but with Hero, I HAVE to turn the car on first, THEN the Hero BT otherwise they don't sync - and even when they do, I have to wait about 30 secs before audio starts routing correctly (I use BT audio for MP3 and SatNav direction)
