Guest Boony123 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 (edited) I used your "T-Mobile Pulse Root und AmonRa Recovery 1.2.3" was working fine, then i tried to install some stuff, and now my phone just sits on the "t-mobile" logo :| i can still link it up to the pc, but i can't get back to the recovery screen. :) I have been looking into reflashing it via the pc and fastboot, but i dont have the .img or .sig files for this, anyone got a nice back up some where to save my life? ::edit:: did do a back up using Nandroid v2.2, but where are the files? i can't see the SD card on my pc with the usb cable, are the backs saved on there, and would i need some software to get the files off it? Thanks for any help Boony out Edited October 23, 2009 by Boony123
Guest Paul Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 There is no key combo for recovery (that we've found), boot the device to fastboot (volume down, end and then power) and then do 'fastboot boot recovery.img' replacing recovery.img with the recovery image filename obviously. P
Guest Boony123 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 I don’t have a, recovery.img or system.img or boot.img or the data.img files anywhere :) is it possible for someone else to upload theirs or a link to some uploaded default ones, and I could use that. I have searched and searched, my head is hurting now :( might have to go back the shop and ask them nicely to exchange it.
Guest Paul Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 Download the recovery image from this forum and boot that. P
Guest Paul Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 After doing so, you can then wipe the device and you'll be back up and running! P
Guest Boony123 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 (edited) Think i've really broken it, I'just tried re-installing that 1.2.3-pulse-amonrarecovery, writen it to the phone but when i restarted it, still stuck on the t-mobile logo, doesn't try to load android or anything :( edit:: any ideas? im doomed ;) Thanks for the help so far though :) Edited October 23, 2009 by Boony123

Guest Paul Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 erm what? Do this.. - turn the device on at bootloader - type 'fastboot boot recovery.img' (use the name of the recovery image from the thread in here) - when the recovery image boots, select the wipe option - reboot P
