Hello people . Recently i installed windows 7 and now i want to change my Omnia Rom. I downloaded the latest one but there is a problem. The installer is made for windows xp and it doesnt detects my phone . Is there a way to install it and if there is how ?

There is a post in the i900 forum about flashing using XP mode in Windows 7. You might want to give that a try.

Well I did actually

A little more info :

I downloaded the rom from here : http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...8-october-2009/

Then i followed the instructions for windows 7 from here : http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...l/#entry1091673

But when i use the program i900 EXEcutor when it dissembles it i don't get all the files i need ( the customer service - CSC file ) to use the GrandPrix program ... :D

Anyone help please ? Or atleast tell me a rom that might work via win7 ?

I flash mine using Omnia UMDL run in Vista SP2 compatabilty mode and as administrator, works fine for me.

Well i am with i900 and in the forums i see that people use umdl only for i910 , if it works for i900 can you please post me a link from where to download it ?

You're right, I don't believe UMDL works with the i900.

Damn It ! ... I see no way of changing it ! ... I read all the topics about win7 and all methods don't seem to work !
