Should i A2SD?

Hi i just rooted my phone and installed MCR. Do you think its worth it to do A2SD on my hero? Will it make the apps run faster? Right now i still have 41MB so thats still a little bit to spare, i also just bought a 16gb (class 2) sd card. Should i do it?

A2SD is incorporated in the latest MCR roms. So if your sd card is partitioned it should be working already.

APPSTOSD, basically installs any apps to the sd card - thus freeing space up. A swap partition on your SD card is what could improve speed as this frees up RAM. People say you need minimum class 6 sd card for it to work effectively - I have a 4gb class 6 and works fine. My set up is 500gb ext3/32mb linux swap/rest fat32

yea the problem was that i have a class 2 sd card so im not sure if it might actually be even slower than the internal memory. Anyways if i have time i'll back up everything and give it a try.

I too have read that a class 6 card is needed. However, I have not been able to find any actual proof.

Perhaps someone would be so kind as to provide a link to an article/post with actual facts?
