Guest ChrisBovingdon Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 Ive just bought my SPV and im getting very irrated- can anyone help? 1 how do you insert words into predictive text? 2 if i text someone and they text me back it doesnt say the name of the person only the mobile number. how can i change this without putting +44 at the beginning of my whole phone book? 3 do i have to convert a song to wav if i want it as my ringtone? Im sure these have all been asked before but i would greatly appreciate if some one could answer them again or point me in the right direction :?
Guest yatpeak Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 1. If you press the asterisk key it will switch between normal text imput, T9 and numbers. If you hold it it will switch between lower case, apital for the one letter (at the start of a sentence etc.) and caps lock. 2. I believe that you have to put +44 at the beginning of all your contacts, but I'm not too sure on this one. 3. Yes, if you want a tune/song as your ringtone, you have to convert it to a .wav file. Hope this helps, Wyatt

Hol to change input modes, press to change case. Change to abc, enter the text then change back to t9 to add a word. Sometimes it seems to "forget" words though :-( 2. Also don't use spaces of brackets as that screws up MMS sending. Barry
