Acess Internet *through* Omnia

Hey,

so, I'm wondering if it's possible to access the internet through my phone. A topic here has a program that lets it be a WiFi Hotspot, however I rather keep it private, either through cable or bluetooth. Is that possible? Thanks

You can use your omnia's default help program to help you with this. If you look it up, I'm sure you'll find it :D It has exactly what you're looking for!

Follow my directions to number 5 and then stop.

You can use the ICSInstall.CAB without the WMWifiRouter91.CAB to connect to the internet with a cable or bluetooth.

Also if you wish to use wifi, you can encrypt the wifi connection using WEP. Look at Post #352 for directions.

If you have internet working (set up properly) on Omnia, then simply Start -> Internet sharing. Works with either USB or Bluetooth.
