Guest philly-d Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 You know things are changing when you start seeing HTC adverts during ad breaks for the X-Factor, and I thought it strange last night when I couldn't get onto any of the HTC sites last night... The reason was because of the launch of their "You" campaign, which links in with their 'Quietly Brilliant' philosophy: You don’t need to get a phone. You need a phone that gets you. John Wang, chief marketing officer, HTC Corporation said:Quietly brilliant is doing great things in a humble way, with the belief that the best things in life can only be experienced, not explained. The YOU campaign is the perfect embodiment of 'quietly brilliant' and is core to HTC as a company, innovator and partner. While the ads are not particularly innovative or funny, I do think they'll achieve the purpose of bringing the HTC brand to the masses in the run up to Christmas. See the update website here, press release here and view the ads on YouTube here. Is this the right direction for HTC? Have a look and tell us what you think.
Guest RickDawson Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 I think it's all about being known in the mobile marketplace. I get people asking what mobile it is when they see mine. (Touch HD - Blackstone) hopefully this will get htc known. it seems like having a phone by an unknown manufacturer, doesn't have much credibility.
