MUI Pack Creation

Hi guys!

At the moment, i'm triyng to create a MUI pack to translate a ROM. I saw different MUI pack for HTC, LG..., but they have few problem like that are not for omnia and not free.....

So i try to build my own french mui pack, and i need some help!

My steps are:

-Download the french MUI from xda for 230XX(i try 23081).

-Compile every dll.Mui folder using RecMod.exe

-Build a reg File from every rgu.

-Build a cab with WinCe including all dll.mui and the reg for editing the registry.

The cab put all the mui in \Windows Folder.

BUT...BUT... It freeze my omnia, the only solution is to hard-reset.

So any advice, help will be useful !

I found some error in the reg files likes the start folder (i put wrong path), but at the moment it does't start either...

What is your system mui lang? English (0409) or french?

Whatever, if your sistem is based on 0409 (english), you can add your french mui, BUT dont change sys mui in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\MUI] "CurLang"=dword:???. It must stay original 0409 (if it is english), otherwise it wont boot.

You may change only current user mui - set it to french in

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\MUI] "CurLang"=dword:(french langcode, probably something like 04..)

That is scenario if you have both muis in your system: system (0409) and current user (french).

Salut ca marchera pas comme ca, tu peux pas changer les mui utilisé par une rom en cours ( ou peut etre si avec la clé override mais g jamais essayé, la plupart du temps ca fait un freeze au boot)

Il faut simplement que tu renomme tout tes MUI en 0409 ( si la langue d'origine de la rom est anglais=409) ca va écraser les fichier langues déja présent.
