Guest Natsirt Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, I'm from Western Australia and this year our daylight savings was cancelled due to voting, so we don't follow the rest of aus. However, my omnia (set to perth GMT+8 in the settings) has put itself forward 1hour. To fix this, I tried changing the clock back 1 hour.. this was all okay but my message's timestamps were all ahead 1 hour. So I tried google, and it lead me to the windows mobile daylight savings fix on the microsoft site.. I downloaded it and installed it, and it resetted my clock back to the normal time (without Daylight savings). I then thought it was all good because my message timestamps were all normal again, BUT now my appointments all lagged behind by 1 hour! I looked at them and went to edit them, but they showed the correct times, only when they were displayed in the agenda widget and agenda view (of SPB mobile shell 3.5) were they lagging behind by 1 hour. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? I really don't know what to do and I couldn't find a relevant topic on here.. It's really frustrating me as I don't think my appointments show their reminders anymore or alert me :D Any help is greatly appreciated! EDIT: The lagged times show in the windows calendar aswell, however, the correct times are displayed when i go to edit the appointments. Edited October 26, 2009 by Natsirt
Guest necosino Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 (edited) Use Advanced Config to go under Misc. and turn off auto-change for DST and see if that takes care of it. Edited October 26, 2009 by necosino
Guest Natsirt Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 Use Advanced Config to go under Misc. and turn off auto-change for DST and see if that takes care of it. Nope :P That didn't do it... surprisingly, it was on "disabled" already when i went to change it. I changed it to enabled.. then back to disabled.. and nothing.. thanks for the help though, necosino :D
