ATM i just want anything with a snapdragon in it +1 me too. The HTC droid Dragon, Passion on Verizon, is suppose to be identical to the HD2 but an android. Are the androidphones global, capable of using both CDMA/GPRS?
Guest arirang Posted October 27, 2009 Report Posted October 27, 2009 it'll be a tough choice. with microsoft, you cannot beat the easy HW-based interaction between window-based devices [blue tooth, active synch, file exchange, etc]. whether 80486, pentium, if it's BT- or USB 1.0/2.0-capable, you can connect to it. with google, you cannot beat its easy single sign-on cloud-based data aggregation/synchronization. I've leveraged all their services [voice, mail, calendar, maps, apps services, contacts, picasa, etc]. i'll let the early-adopters report the bugs, watch the forums for hot-topics [especially battery life]. if google continues porting their services to MS [ie-active synch with gmail], and MS remains open to google-based apps [vs. apple's infamous Gvoice rejection], it'll be a VERY tough choice.
Guest punchman Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 yeah, it really does seem like time will tell. there's just a lot of good technology up and coming.
Guest Curtai Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 Damn, And I just got my I910 a couple months ago... LOL... I think I will skip all the hullabaloo and go with the second-gen Snapdragon based devices, because by then, they should have most of the bugs out... and IDC which operating system it has as long as it isn't RIM based... I dont like blackberry devices, never owned one but I am really comfortable with the windows based OS and an open source one would be even better...
