omnia rom/firmware update french to english.

hi all. i ve been using xperia for a while but due to a broken screen i just got a Omnia i900. the problem is that the phone system is in French. I played a bit with it and I am interested in geting a new rom, perhaps wm 6.5. I was wondering if anyone can point me to a clean and fast rom, nothing too fancy just optimised. As i never done this before I was hoping to be pointed to a simple way to do it for a start. I ve done a lot of search but the more i search, the more i get confused. a lot of people seem to point to their own work... i just wanted to find a nice rom pretty much like an official english rom for a start. perhaps later on if i feel more adventurous, i would go for something else.
