Guest ErnstJanF Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 I don't know the answer, but I do know the FM-player from Samsung uses TMC.
Guest Daidalos117 Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Nobody don´t ¨know anything? http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...mniatmc-beta-2/ What this? Can it work?
Guest redhead910 Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) edit: you need .NET Framework 3.5 installed for this to work!! http://phj.hu/i8000/TMC/ download the following files (see attachments) - Beemer Cert - HyperGPS - GFmapi and soft reset after installation of each cab After connecting your headphone as antenna = essential !!! Then start HyperGPS and make the following settings: COM Port: COM4 FM band: CCIR for europe Data output: TMC Data Sound output: Speaker Mute radio: tuned sound Log mode: not logged Protocol: ROyaltek!!!!! Then hit the TMC button in the upper right corner (to the left it should then say TMC DRIVER ACTIVE) Finally, start your navigation software (I use IgO8) and go to settings of TMC. Choose COM port 4 and Royaltek protocol. Deselect auto tuning (otherwise it will scan all frequences which is very slow) and tune to a FMstation you know that provides TMC. You need to have headphones connected and have reception. Note: I do not take credit nor responsibility for providing this software. I provided you with my description as how to install the software, as I found the original authors description a bit confusing. Guest Ajacied410_NL Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 These settings and programs worked in the Netherlands. Thanks!
Guest Bert Meis Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) I too have got it working on my B7610 in the Netherlands. I am not using IGO 8, but Navigon MN7. That requires the GNS protocol, instead of Royaltek. Otherwise everything is exactly the same. Grtz, Bert. Edit: The phone starts making contact to GPRS every time i start up the navigator. Any suggestions on how to disable this???? Edited April 14, 2010 by Bert Meis

Guest redhead910 Posted May 1, 2010 Report Posted May 1, 2010 (edited) @ Bert Meis: Just uncheck all the XTRA options in 'algemene instellingen --> GPS --> XTRA' But I suggest you keep this activated for faster GPS fix (if you have a data plan with your provider) I too have got it working on my B7610 in the Netherlands. I am not using IGO 8, but Navigon MN7. That requires the GNS protocol, instead of Royaltek. Otherwise everything is exactly the same. Grtz, Bert.
