A little help guys

I'm running the mocado 2.8 rom on my hero.

Is it just me or is upload disabled for everyone in the default browser?

Cheers

For example, when wanting to upload a pic to the internet the box says 'uploads disabled' and I can't browse my file directory.

Is this an Android security feature?

Can anyone upload to the internet from the default browser on their hero?

Any help would be much appreciated

Yep upload disabled for me in the default browser.

Opera browser from the market place however does support uploads. I

tried it on the site http://free.mailbigfile.com to send a large 30mb file.

Thanks for relpying and confirming I'm not the only one.

Is there anyway to 'enable' this feature? I need this as I have no internet access at work.

I've tried opera mini and unimpressed with its UI.

I am getting the same problem on my HTC Desire - its fine on my PC, but not from my mobile!

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this?

I think it's the same for all versions of the default Android browser. I believe it's because Android doesn't have a built in file manager - so there's no way to choose a file you wish to upload.
