It shouldn't be doing that its boot looping by the sounds of it needs a wipe again unless you can deal with It.

Thought it might have been. Its running 2.8 and its stable. I only switch on in the morning (before work) and off again when I get home. Its something I can live with. I'll wait until MoDaCo 3.0 before I do a full wipe and reinstall of everything.

i heard someone say "smartphones aren't meant to be turned off. that's what the airplane mode is for" thought of it as a smart idea, doing it since.

Not heard of that before, I'll give it a try. Though I personally like to switch it off in order to charge the battery. IMHO, charging whilst off is faster and better for the battery.

maybe, but with the liion battery, charging via usb everytime it is plugged in and a runtime of <1day with heavy usage i can not deal with stuff like that. i charge my battery whenever i have the opportunity.

since my hero loses 1-2% during a night in airplane mode it can't be that big of a difference concerning charging, imho.
