I900 TouchFlo 2.0.1919.1432 Restart all the time

Hi all,

I try to find why the TouchFLo 2.0 on my I900 Omnia restart so ofen... :P

I have try 8 ROM in 6.5 from 23064 to 23018.

I juste sync with Exchange, nothing more... No more Cab.

After 2 min the toucheFlo restart, i try to put a contact in "Fav contact tab" and the Touchflo restart...

I need your help to understand what happend...

The memory use stay in 52% to 63% (Showcase info)

I have the option the back to the older M2D but if i can find how to fix this bug... :D

How many have the same problem ?

juste a detail i have change the Regional setting to "French/France" but i don't think is it the problem...

Please help it's very important for me.

After many (many) test i find (i hope) the problem...

The exchange connexion is the problem, i use now imap and activsync for sync my contacts, tasks, notes... and in 2h i don't have a reboot of the Touchflo.

i try longer and i'm back for feedback.

Does any body have the same problems ? any body use exchange connection ?

PS : the battery was drain very fast when i use Exchange connexion 1/2 day max.

Please send me your feedback in this problem if you have it.

If you haven't got alot of memory left, Windows will keep shutting down all of your programs.

You need to find a ROM, with lots of memory left, I have also gone back to a 6.1 windows rom, using M2D, no issues any more

i know i saw an program on xda-devs which can protect selected applications from being killed in 6.5... but i don't remember the name.

i had it installed when i used ryrzy's m2d rom and it worked :D

It's called EverApp, and it originated from here, Modaco.

Your solutions are:

1. Use WM 6.1; or

2. Use a WM 6.5 ROM that doesn't use much RAM; or

3. Don't run too many programs/processes; or

4. Try EverApp.

Thx i will try "EverApp" to see if the have change.

But with out exchange connexion it's seem to be stable, it's restart again but not often.

the rom is WM6.5 ROMs for i900 by Ryrzy Build 23071 M2D.

I try to enable the exchange again and see if the everApp change the problem.

I have try EverApp and all i can do alone but the problem stay ....

I've gotten frustrated with it as well but it has to do with the ported m2d. I've asked around and the answer is always the same; c'est la vie. This is why some use titanium (ughhh). And some have spb 3.5.1 and are waiting for HTC PURE v1 theme in wqvga!!!!!!!

My experience with this "restarting M2D" behavior is that it relates to S2U2... when I disable S2U2 and use the WM 6.5 lock screen this problem doesn't occur.

You right with out S2U2 they have no problem but it's the problem lol i d'like tu use S2U2 on Windows 6.5... i know it's a dream but Christmas is not far :D

S2U/S2U2 is responsible for most of the problems I ever had. Just do not use it.

Hi all GOOD NEWS !!!

I have no restart of M2D in 1 day !!! yes !!!it's a victory for me ;)

Ok my solution is very easy, I have juste format the 8Go memory... yes i know they have no reason but it work now for me.

Juste save all you files to your computer (clean it, trash the to old), use the phone for format the Memory (8/16Go) not the 97Mo.

Flash your phone with a new ROM (for me i use Build 21876 classic view from Ryrzy at this link

I have installed in auto mode by the SDConfig.txt

Could you make s2u2 and manila works at the same time? Did you defenitly resolve the problem with this?
