Hi everyone!

Is it possible to add Russian keyboard to the list of available keyboards ? Most of my contacts are in English, so, unfortunately, Russian locale doesnt work for me, since it only allows to search Russian letters in the phonebook.

Thanks!

These are not nearly as good as HTC TouchInput Russian keyboard!

At the moment the only way to switch to proper Russian keyboard is to use Russian Locale which will switch the whole UI to Russian. It would really be great if you could leave the original English UI and just change language of the keyboard!

Thanks! It seems like what I was looking for, but I am not a developer and not that familiar with linux. From what I understood, I need to install AndroidSDK on my PC, then follow this guide to get to the command line and finally follow the guide you've suggested. Is that about right? Do I need to root the phone before doing it?
