Guest bbmalver Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 (edited) Hi everyone, Just upgraded my MicroSD card from 8Gb to 16Gb, concurrently increasing my music folder from 4Gb to over 8Gb. Now whenever i start up coreplayer and link to the music folder it takes about 5mins+ for it to start playing, and has about a 1 second delay when switching between songs. (I'm assuming this is because of the large list). This is especially troublesome because as a multimedia player, if you switch to playing any media other than music then you have to wait the long length of time again before being able to listen to music, not to mention as a TG01 device, which requires the occasional reset from time to time. Has anyone come across this problem, or have a solution for it? Or is 8Gb+ too much for coreplayer Edited November 2, 2009 by bbmalver
Guest bbmalver Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Ha! Solved my own query; Just need to go to Menu > Options > Media Library > Select 'Disable Media Library'. Restart app and it no longer tries to read the whole library before playing the songs!
Guest Neil5459 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 There's always a way :D I've only got 4GB of music, and use Pocket Tunes for music, so hadn't seen the problem with CorePlayer.
