htc making distortion noises during phone calls

hello fello htc hero owners,

I love my phone and everything has gone smoothly since day 1 but now ive hit a problem. Now ALMOST everytime 2day when i made phone calls or received, i hear these weird distortion, weird computer noises (sort of like transformer noises) and then the phone call just cuts off and ends. Im not sure if it has something to do with reception or if its my phone. Last time it happened i checked my reception and it was 3 bars out of the 4. Its happened randomly in the past b4 but just 2day it just went beserk.

Anyone else having this problem ??

Yeah, most phones do that. Just part of having a phone. There are filters and shielding available for your cables and connectors. Don't know if they work, never tried them. Maybe you can try one of those Audiophile forums if they have a solution that works.

nope not this noise.

These weird noises were coming out of the speaker of the phone which u put ur ear up against when u make phone calls. Sounds nothing like that noise on the youtube clip.

Ah ok. I've had that with my motorola razr. Don't have it on my Hero. If it's really bothering you or getting worse maybe it's a good idea to contact HTC Customer Support?

I sometimes get this on my Hero also... And I have the latest updates - radio as well as mcr2.9. has happened to me randomly with the last few upadtes.
