Guest bpivk Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Install a new rom. Your version is old so check the forums rom section, read the howto that you can find there and pick up a rom of your choice.
Guest brabep Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 I have the same problem but in order to upgrade the ROM I need a version number. How can I upgrade without version number? Thank's for help, Peter
Guest bpivk Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 You don't need any version numbers. You have to know: 1. The model of the phone (i900 or i910) 2. The language of the phone (if you use any other than English but keep in mind that some countries don't have their own language) 3. The cooker that makes the best rom for your needs or just a stock rom You need to know no. 1 and 3 but you can use just plain DXID1 rom if you're using a phone with english language at this moment.

I know 1) is i900 But if I go to http://samsungmobile.com/support/omnia/de/...de&os=Vista# the site requires a Version number. Otherwise I can't proceed.
Guest bpivk Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Check the rom section of this forum and use any of the rom listed there. You have a howto if you don't know how to flash and a lot of roms.

Guest brabep Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) on most samsungs *#1234# should give you the info you need. :) Hi everybody, My language is German and thank's for all your tips and tricks. My version says: PDA: i900XGHI5 without anything else Phone: i900XXHH9 I've downloaded "i900BHIC2_updater_xp.EXE" and run it. But whatever FW update I use it always says "Wrong Software Version" - "Check your System" Can I somehow edit the registry to add a version? If yes: how do I access the registry editor? What can I do? Regards, Peter Edited November 9, 2009 by brabep
