Quick question

Im going to do the CF03 update, can anyone tell me if this update will correct the low volume, and keyboard pop up problems im having with this phone, or will i have to flash something else. This looks like a great site to get help from fellow members thanks.

What problems are you having? If you haven't had your Omnia too long, chances are it already came with the CF03 ROM. Read my stickied post to see how to check which ROM you have before doing anything.

I just checked the current version on my phone, it reads VBJ28. 20276. Problems im having are low volume, and having to press the unlock tab all the time. And yes i have your stickie printed out already :D Edited November 4, 2009 by chasmanz28

Ok guys everything went great on the new version. Now my 2nd question is how do i get the free gps on my phone? Do i have to install 6.5 to get it? Any help would be great thanks. Oh by the way, whats the diffrence between 6.1 and 6.5. Just curious if its worth it to me.

Just did a search and downloaded google maps so i got the gps working. Does verizon or samsung offer a 6.5 rom? I have everything i need right know just curious whats the advantage of having the newer rom.
