Pulse using Voda Mobile BB USIM??

Hi

Considering getting a Pulse on PAYG, looks to be outstanding value and I fancy a go with Android. I have a (rubbish) work phone I use for all calls so voice is not a priority. I also have a contract Vodafone Mobile Broadband USIM.

So my question is: if I buy a PAYG pulse and unlock it could I use the MBB USIM? Means I don't have to worry about internet usage and (assuming the fine efforts to get the kernel are successful) I might even be able to use it as a Wireless AP so I don't have to keep swapping the USIM out everytime I want to go online from the laptop?
