Guest wabe Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 Hello Have updated my ROM, radio and also updated to Technologist's kernel the last few days. The updates seem to have work fine but noticed today that a number of emails sent from phone are stuck in outbox. Kalendar sync just fine also through Google and no problems receiving mails. Quite a serious problem for me, since my company use Google apps for handling all mail, calenders etc. I mostly use my phone to read emails while out of office but being able to send is of course crucial. My set up is the following: - Modaco ROM 2.8 - Technologist 1.8 - Tried both most recent radios (without resolving problem) Has anyone else noticed this problem? Any ideas on how to resolve.
Guest wabe Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Googled in general about this problem I it seems I'm not alone! Anyone has same experience here? Any tips for working solution would be greatly appreciated!
Guest Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Did you ever find a solution? It seems I have the same problem now ;)
Guest Dan Mullen Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 Did you ever find a solution? It seems I have the same problem now ;) I get this problem intermittently and would also be interested to find out if anyone has any further info on it.
Guest subhramani Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Do a wipe/ factory reset. That should fix it.
Guest wabe Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 Do a wipe/ factory reset. That should fix it. About a week after I wrote this post the problem disappeared all by itself. Have no clue why - no wipe or factory reset. Have since upgraded ROM but I have not done a wipe or reset when upgrading.
Guest venturerider Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 Are you running one of those task killers?
Guest kendon Posted December 14, 2009 Report Posted December 14, 2009 this might be something with your google account. from the sound of it it reminds me of the "market not showing all apps" problem, some people were having. a workaroung for that was to wipe, install an aosp eclair rom, somehow this restores the google account, then restore the mcr3.0 nandroid backup and they had the apps back in the market... i had the problem with some apps not showing up myself a while ago, and it also solved itself after about a week or so, so i see the connection here.
