Guest spaghetina Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 This is going to sound so stupid, but I can't seem to find any of my Office Mobile programs. I recently hard reset my i900, and installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.5. Since the hard reset, I don't seem to have a way to access Word, Excel or OneNote without opening an existing document. There are no program shortcuts anywhere that I can see, either from the original start menu, the Samsung main menu, or through SPB's generated list of programs. Any idea how/where I can access the programs from, without having to open an existing document first?

I'm sure it is on the windows start menu; just go to Settings --> Menus and uncheck the office folder. after this you'll find it in the programs list (start menu --> programs)

I don't see any Office programs whatsoever to check or uncheck in the list. Is there anywhere else where the option might possibly exist? It's really such a mystery... my missing shortcuts.

This is weird; anyway, just go to windows directory and you'll find all the apps there as .exe files. Make a shortcut for each one to "\windows\start menu" folder.

Obviously the programs are installed somewhere on the phone, for it to be able to open old Word and Excel documents, but for some reason, they're not where one would expect them to be. Any ideas on where else they might be located?

Did you "Show All Files"? the names are:ppt.exe (Power Point)pword.exe (Word)pxl.exe (Excel)I don't know where else they could exist. one last sol. is to re-install the office again, you can find the setup in any of the cooked rom posts.
