Flashing Problem

hello, all i am having trouble with flashing my omnia for the first time,

I did everything in the guide but when it gets to the point where i connect the phone to the PC, leave it for 10-15 minutes, turn it off, start the updater, turn phone on. This is when i cant turn the phone back on when its connected, take the usb off it then turns on. Put it on my wall charger it turns on when connected. I have tried holding the power button, pressing the power button, i dont know whats going on.

Any help?
