Guest Pieronip Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Hi After the upgrade, I am unable to restore my SMS messages using Sprite for Android. Does this upgrade make changes to the SMS database structure and is there any way round the problem? Many thanks.
Guest anderneo Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 Can't you just not restore anything? Or does it result in some failure? Are you able to locate the smsmms.db file Sprite backup has created for you?

Are you able to locate the smsmms.db file Sprite backup has created for you? Thanks for your reply. The restore log contains many error messages which I do not understand. I can restore everything else including MMS. I have passed the problem to Sprite but posted here to see if there was a known issue and to alert anyone else that there might be one. I do not know where the file you refer to is located but I guess since MMS is ok then so must that file be. Thanks again. Edited November 9, 2009 by Pieronip

If Sprite Backup saves its information on the SD, there should be an smsmms.db file which you can easily restore using Backup for Root Users..
