Yesterday, I was using my phone like normal, everything was cool, 3 hours charging time, full battery, no problems. The I tried to sync with my laptop like i do every other day. Didnt work. Tried to soft reset my phone and restart my laptop, still wouldnt work. So that okay, my phone had full batteries anyways and my a/c adapter is currently busted, so my only option is to charge on laptop. For some reason, it wouldn't charge, but like I said, its fine, it's full batteries. Keep in mind it was synced to my laptop a couple hours before that, before I had to go out. In the morning, there was about 15% battery left, and in a rush to get to work, I only had 1/2 an hour to charge. That gave me a good 40% to get to work and charge there. At work, I forgot about charging and it got to lunch time, when my phone completely shut off. tried charging on the work computer, wouldn't work. I got home, tried the laptop again, it worked. But the problem is, the god damn thing's been charging for the last 6-7 hours and its still only at 80% battery. What the heck just happened?

It's not a good idea to rely only on the USB cable to charge your Omnia... It will never fully charge ( green light ) and it may refuse to charge the phone if the battery is dead. The problem is not with Omnia's battery, the problem is the way you charge it .

Thanks for the replies guys. So if I were to get another AC adapter, everything should be fine?

Yea. Just make sure you don't have the "don't charge when connected to PC" selected in the Battery settings.

Interesting. I have had my Omnia since January and I think have charged using the adapter about twice in all that time. In fact, I don't know where the darn thing is anymore.

I have not had a problem but then that's me. The only thing to do is try charging with the USB for a while and if it doesn't charge to 100% go back and use your adapter.
