T-Mobile update and root access

Hi all,

T-Mobile Germany is finally out : http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/neu/ruu_h...ed_nodriver.exe

If I install this on a rooted device I guess I will loose root access, right?

Do I have to wait until a rooted Modaco Rom is available?

Why using this?

I think Pauls Rom is based on a newer version.
