Guest Lunchbox77 Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Ryrzy rom Have Lite dialer , phonebook, file manager , fm radio , clock as default in clean rom?
Guest djsolidsnake86 Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 i don0't think that Ryrzy's rom is the best light rom!
Guest plguzman Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Ryrzy's ROMs are not the fastest, but they are sure very stable. I'm using 23056 lite and it's very, very good. A lot of bugs solved. I use only lite ROMs
Guest jmsmartins Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 the unique 2 lite 23506 here are from ryrzy and Mr Hammer. any one seems fine to me. Mr Hammers' has a more "official" look, more untouched, while ryrzy's has some usefull (imo) apps cooked in. i suggest you to try both and decide whatever fits your needs most :)
Guest dadme Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 Try Hammer's v8 , work's better then others, i don't want to give names...
Guest leap_ahead Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 in clean rom? yes i use Lite !!
Guest skaynan Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) My vote go to Nick's ROMS for the com5 branch. Ryrzy's is also very good, but Nick's have better touch response (indeed, second only to Master K's roms in this respect, but he's not making any new Roms). Some people consider Nick's Rom are not as good because they eat up more program Ram. Although that's true, after using his latest builds I can only say that it doesn't really matter, because somehow there's no app auto close problem in his new roms. The apps stay open. I highly recommend you try his lite rom and see if it suites your needs. Edited November 12, 2009 by skaynan

Guest plguzman Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) I wanted to try Nick's 23056 lite ROM, unfortunately he didn't cook it, and I don't want FloTanium, so... EDIT: based on dadme's opinion, I flashed with Hammer's V8, and I have to say that is a very good ROM too, but what is truly amazing about this ROM is the Program Memory Usage. Once you flash you have over 57Mb available for programs, and that is WITH THE OMNIA LITE DIALER ON. Most lite ROM's gives you that kind of program memory, but that is with the Windows Dialer. Is the first time (in WM6.5) that more than the 50% of the program memory is available after booting, with the Omnia Dialer activated. Nice recomendation dadme, I will flash with Hammer ROM's from now on. Edited November 13, 2009 by plguzman
Guest leap_ahead Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 Steves 23081 purelite. sb we talk about 23506 ..

Guest adanoss Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) the touch response in some programs was awful Both Nick and Sector cooks "FtouchSL" in their ROMs. This is only thing that makes very responsible touch-screen. I tried it on one Russian lite-stable ROM with old inerface and "awful response" and got a very good result))) Just try to install it, disable all except k-scrolling in FTouchSL settings and assign zeroes to registry keys "HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\Click" and "HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\DownUp" P.S. You may find links in Sector's thread here in MoDaCo (I use translated FTouchSL, so it would be useless for you guys) Edited November 13, 2009 by adanoss
Guest plguzman Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 FtouchSL is a must in any ROM. If it's not cooked in it, you have to install it.
Guest z3ntn3l Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 Hey just want to say Thank you for this Thread. After Stev wont release a new Rom in the next Time i searched for exactly this kind of Thread. And i found it here ;-) So i tried Ryrzy's M2D 23506 Rom and its really nice! Very fast and stable! Also the ugly OmniaLite Keyboard is not cooked in :-) Sure, some Things are missing like: - OmniaLite Apps are not Windows Default :-( - FTouchSL is missing but can easily be installed (Kinetic Scrolling like in Sectors Rom!) - Windows System Sounds are missing! For example there is no indication Sound when changing the Volume. - Opera Beta is cooked in but this is a bad choice for the People who having a WAP-Flatrate (Opera Beta wont support WAP only WEB Connections) PS: About the FTouchSL-thingy: I just downloaded the official Trial-Version and installed it. Thats all. You dont have to start FTouchSL! Its only needed to be installed to enable Kinetic Scrolling.
Guest skaynan Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 (edited) FtouchSL is great, but that's not the "touch response" smoothness I'm talking about. Sector's ROM, While great in every other way, has Touch response nowhere near as fun as K or Nick. Why? I have no idea. K sayd he's using a "different kitchen"... Again, no idea, only that it's working. Check these roms out and u see what I'm talking about. Prblem is that whenever you get used to such a great touch response, there's no turning back- that's why I don't use other roms for long- I always revert back to the ones with the smooth touch, regardless of other features these roms may not have. Guest Lunchbox77 Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 i think this is the end for great ROMs, everyone's leaving, and i'M staying with my omnia for another year, or 6 months at least :)
