Guest death365 Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 im having a bit of a problem . about 4 months ago my omnia i900 feel in to some water . app. 5 feet . i catched it 6 inches into the fall an dryed it out , 1st with a towel then in a dry place not directly in sun ... all seemed well till 2 wweks ago where the keypad stoped working , then after pressing the keys alot , it started back again . now it works bout 85 % of the time . is this a hardware problem ? if so how to fix it (im pretty good with extanging parts in phones ) .
Guest XphX Posted November 13, 2009 Report Posted November 13, 2009 Forget about repairing it. If it is a hardwareproblem, you're gonna have to live with that one. Sorry, but if you didn't dry the device properly (like in an oven), it will most likely die within weeks. Hardreset your device to see if it is a softwareproblem (don't install any new keyboards as this might me a cause...). XphX
