bluetooth calling issue with car kit

I have a strange issue with my car kit. It's the original factory fitted kit that came with my C4. When I call out the unit picks up the call and displays the info on the screen, but I get no sound for the first 10 seconds. Anyone else seeing this? Any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks.

my Hero is also very poor with bluetooth (to be honest i have never found any phone yet where bluetooth worked fully and reliably) some times it will not answer the call using bluetooth, some times it wont respond to the call/hang up button press. to be honnest it is possibly the worst phone i have come accross for bluetooth (yes even worse than Sony Erricsons, and that is saying something!) it is so bad that my new Hero has been religated to my second phone and my old viewty brought back into use as my primary phone. i hope someone on the ball sorts this problem very quickly or i will be looking for a swap for an Acer DX900. (dual sim phone)

I had similar issues on previous Windows Mobile phones when they first came out, especially with new O/S versions, so I'm not surprised. Would be good to get a fix though. Anyone else having an issue?

My Hero & Motorola T605 are "amusing"

If I enable BT *in* the car, with the car running, it mostly works.

If I enable BT *out of* the car, then start the car, it mostly fails.

If I manually DESELECT media streaming (phone only) then it tends to behave - but I'm used to getting in the car, starting BT and ringing voicemail to check it works before I start driving...

Bluetooth is an old technology and by now we should not be having these sort of problems for such a simple device function. If Microsoft implemented the USB thing even half as well as the average bluetooth on a mobile phone, we would all be using Firewire (it would be no bad thing to be honnest) but we are stuck with bluetooth as it is........piss poor, no matter what phone you buy. It is really depressing.

I get a delay with my Mondeo system as well.
