T-Mobile UK & Virgin Network - Disruption

There seems to be some sort of disruption to the T-Mobile network, which also affects Virgin Mobile as they use their backbone and as far as I can see, only affecting East of England.

Must be something serious!

I'm waiting for a reply from T-Mobile regarding this network disruption.

More information to follow.

T-Mobile has told me there is a "major network outage" with no ETA of it being back online.

Just to add....

T Mobile is working fine here in the West Country (Devon/Somerset Border)

I didn't know Devon is part of East of England? :)

No problem here in Woking which is East - ish

My friend in Norwich keeps saying that she gets signal briefly, then it goes again.

Maybe they're trying to fix the mast?

Latest update from T-Mobile

There's a fault at a site effecting 2G services in East Anglia, primarily Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk & Cambridgeshire.

There are engineers on site currently replacing fibre cables although we don't have an eta for the completion of this at present.

Is the network down due to the large volume of customer data that they are selling on (illegally) to third parties??? :)
