I currently have the EU radio and was curious as to whetther any users had noticed improvement with the IU one? Also, do you install a radio by renaming the downloaded zip to update.zip and then installing from the recovery image?

I noticed a difference, WiFi defiantly works better, and HSDPA is a bit quicker, I can seamlessly browse Google maps on most connections quite quickly now.

So yes there is no harm in upgrading, if its worse for you just go back.

and yes rename to update.zip and apply using recovery mode. same as everything else :)

Yup, IU us much better then the EU radio. Updated as soon as it was released. Better reception, better Wifi, I get 3G access more than before at home. Simply put: Yes it is better! :)

Yeah Installed it though when it got stuck on the deleting cache bit of the update I started to freak out cos it just hung there. A quick google informed me that it actually finished this bit really quickly, there's just no 'done' message.

Can't comment onthe Wifi reception but I reckon I'm getting 3g and H and bit more than I used to in the blackspots in my house.
