Problem with the keyboard layout/position

Hey guys,

I have recently flashed to a new ROM which is going great, except for 2 things;

1. Whenever I go send a new message, the top and bottom bar stays as it was on the previous screen (see pic 1). Anyone know if this is fixable??

2. When I open up the keyboard (doesn't matter which one I use), it is positioned higher on the screen than it needs to be, with a transparent part between the keyboard and the bottom task bar (pic 2). Any ideas on this one too?

I got it! After poking around in the registry, i found this key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip:MenuBarHeight

Set this to 35 and restart your phone!
