Guest Klusek Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 did you hold both volume up and lock screen button after the soft reset? Yes If this method don't work for you (but it do for me) try the omnia II method I try this too, but this method also does not work :D
Guest spaanplaat Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 Yes I try this too, but this method also does not work :D just dial this in phone. Master-Reset: *2767*3855#
Guest Klusek Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 If it were that simple;) I can not do, because the phone does not start. Windows boots up to the boot screen and then hangs up.
Guest ErnstJanF Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 (edited) Hold Volume UP + Lock key, Softreset, wait for confirmation, press SEND (Call) key It might take 2-3 times before the device finds the inputs! -- edit -- Hold the buttons until you see the format screen. Just hold the buttons, softreset the device while holding the buttons and keep the buttons pressed :D Tell us if it worked? Edited November 24, 2009 by ErnstJanF

This is not a big problem, because I managed to run the phone. However, it is strange why none of the methods of HR is not working on my phone.

However, it is strange why none of the methods of HR is not working on my phone. 1. Test the buttons if they're working seperately on WM. 2. Try it multiple times, as it's most likely you missed the combo. 3. Did you flash your phone? It could be you corrupted your bootloader.. Could you please change your topic title to 'Hard reset (hardware) not working'? It's easier for people to know what the topic's about :D Thanks!
Guest Klusek Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 1. Buttons working properly. I tested it many times. 2. I tried for several hours :D 3. Yes. I use the Secany's ROM. How to check the bootloader?

How to check the bootloader? At first, thanks for changing the topic title, it will help many users find what they need! Second, I dont know how to check the bootloader. Strange part is. I just checked if the combo's worked on my B7610.. it's not working at all :( Trying to get some workaround done..
Guest sp4mm Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 Trying to get some workaround done.. Have you had success? I was trying to HR mine too (Win 6.1 stuck at bootup after wrong dialpad-skin installation). In all possible described ways - without any luck. Cheers Thomas
Guest Peter1706 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 (edited) I've problems with a hard reset also. I wanted to change my rom from 6.1 to 6.5 with Octans (vodafone, so I can't do it with NPS). Then octans got stucked. Now It stys in the downloadmode and does't seem to work anymore? Never mind. I got it to work and now I've 6.5!!! ;) Edited December 12, 2009 by Peter1706
Guest ErnstJanF Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Best option for this is to flash the ROM again.. I think ;)
Guest Klusek Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) I came back to WM 6.1, and this method "pres button "Volume UP" + lock key and hold it until it ask you for Hard reset or cancel..." works now :) Edited December 22, 2009 by Klusek

Guest account2002 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 thanks a lot for the tip Is the first time i'm able to hard reset by hardware on this device. As said before just have to hold the w&l and Lock buttons before soft reset and as soon as it vibrate press send and end buttons without releasing the W&l and lock buttons You don't even have to press reset button. The simpliest way: Turn off the phone. Press and hold "w&l" and "lock" buttons and then press "call start" and "call end" buttons together. The phone will turn on (do not release buttons just wait) and after a few seconds device format screen will appear.
Guest spirit30 Posted February 27, 2010 Report Posted February 27, 2010 dial *2767*3855# can hard reset ur device. But make sure u have backup all ur data as it will directly HR after dialing.

The "hardware keys" hard reset is handy when the system is faulty and the phone doesn't boot up. Edited February 27, 2010 by account2002
Guest LukasSnake Posted March 1, 2010 Report Posted March 1, 2010 You don't have to press the buttons before reseting with stylus...I usually place the phone on the table, softreset it with stylus and right after it press lock+W&L buttons with one hand and green+red with the other...simple...
