Podcasting Issues

Hi folks,

I got a T-Mobile G2 (UK) last week and I have been trying to add the SKY News video podcast at http://skyscape.sky.com/skynewsradio/NEWS/dailyheads.xml.

This has previously worked fine on the Nokia N96, however I'm struggling to get it working on the G2. I have read Paul's topic on installing a custom ROM and I have successfully installed MCR 2.9. (Thanks Paul, you made it really easy to do!)

Using dPOD, BeyondPod or MyPod, I get an 'unspecified error' in the Notifications area when I try to download the latest podcast - they all recognise the URL and can tell me when the feed was last updated, however it won't let me stream or download the latest episode (I'm using WiFi, btw)

I've reformatted my 16Gb SD card, but still getting the same error. MyPod says that it is unable to open the file.

Is this a permissions thing? Could some kind soul out there try it and tell me if it works for them?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Update 25/11/2009 - According to the Droidbolts team (responsible for DPod) there is known problem with podcasting and the Hero, which the next version of dPod will address... Guess I'll wait and see!
