Guest DLCI Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 Do you have the IntelXscale set as video output? menu->tools->prefs->press select button-> video->video output: IntelXscale
Guest kennnn Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 i tried this . kind of works but video output theres video quality , which is high but i have to keep it medium to prevent it from skipping due to which the quality is pixelated . is there no way to keep it high . i tried your method but didnt work . am i still doing something wrong .
Guest DLCI Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 did you, just for the test, try to put them to the internal storage? I've had in the past a very slow memory card...just a guess
Guest kennnn Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 i tried doing this . but it still plays with a buffer and a skip.then i had to go and put video quality as medium , iinstead of high as it was orginally.works :D but theres no fun with quality on medium.do your original avi files play on ur ppc without any problem? without convertin em?
Guest DLCI Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 I never had to convert anything. divx,xvid-all were fine. Had problems though with avi files, that have multichannel audio-use tcpmp for such. I suppose you've already reset the device several times, after changing the coreplayer video output settings to xscale so... perhaps those specific files are not so "standard" (a/v codec for example). Core player has problems with some audio streams, but mainly multichannel. Can you download and try also the TCPMP player (it is free)? Just google for this file TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03.CAB. If it also gives you the same result, try with other files and... Are you sure you don't have some heavy application, running in background? Custom ROM?
