What happens when I hard reset?

I have the EVIDENCE MS 3.5.1 ROM here: http://www.modaco.com/content/i910-specifi...ms3-5-1-post-3/

And I was wondering what would happen if I hard reset it. Would it go back to the Verizon ROM or would it go back to default settings in the EVIDENCE ROM? This may seem like a stupid question....

It will just format the current rom installed and not revert to your original one. Basically, it just deletes everything you've installed such as contacts, text messages, programs etc and your left with the rom you flashed. Hope this has cleared up any confusion.
