Guest wyettetrashe Posted November 25, 2009 Report Posted November 25, 2009 I love entering text using the "10 key" or "12 key" keyboard system and I loathe being forced to learn QWERTY with my thumbs. I had an older rom that supported a xt9 10/12 key function and I am very fond of it but it seems impossible to find a cab that supports this seemingly outdated form of text input. I have searched to no avail and I can't find a rom (with a xt9 dictionary) that supports the 12/10 key input system. Does anyone have a cab (preferably) or know of a good rom that supports this text entry system? (If I am describing my text input method wrong I apologize as I am unaware of the correct terminology. I am trying to describe a method of entering text using a xt9 dictionary and the standard phone keypad where the "2" key is the letter a, b or c and the "3" key is the letter "d, e or f", etc.) Please help. Thanks.

Thanks. Term you want is phonepad/keypad. Have tried several but been sticking with htc one recently, only drawback is you need htc dll's for it to work (some roms already have it, some dont). Some have phonepad cooked in you just have to hold the input button (or keyboard popup button) down for like 5 secs then let go. Will post atom keyboard, htc one is over the 2mb limit to upload here :Dphonepad_atom_wwe.cab
