Guest Menno Slaats Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Hi, I'm trying to connect my Pulse to my pc with Windows 7. But badly I can't install it correctly, it's still complaining about not finding all the drivers. 4 times there is a "T-Mobile 3G Phone" is the list of Unknown Devices in the Device Manager. Is there anyone who made a successful connection of the Pulse to a Windows 7 pc?

Install the pc suite now go to hardware manager right click then go to properties > hardware > click the ? item then the properties button Now in new window click change settings in general tab > click driver tab in new windown > update driver > locate it yourself > browse to pc suite > drivers folder > vista (pick correct one for either normal or 64bit) Rinse and repeat with them all. Hope it helps. Took me hours of tinkering and drivers were right under my nose :S Edited November 28, 2009 by niko1986

Guest Cabinet Enforcer Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Hi all, I'm having this problem with Windows 7 too - where the hell is this PC suite install? I've searched the T-Mobile website and cannot locate it anywhere! Thanks You install it from the CD that came with the phone. I couldn't see any intel 64bit drivers, only ones for AMD64, though they seemed to work.

Guest Spook Tooth Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) Damn drivers are hard to find! What people mean, is: use the CD from the box to install the PC Suite software then, once it's installed go to the installation directory, so for Windows 7 64bit users like me it's: C:\Program Files (x86)\PC Suite\driver\Vista-AMD64 Use your System Properties/Device Manager to scan for hardware changes (right click) then update each of the 4 T Mobile Pulse drivers. Choose to locate each driver yourself (update driver/browse my computer...). Et voila! Bob's yer uncle and fanny's, yer aunt. :) Edited December 23, 2009 by Spook Tooth

Guest Hermg Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 (edited) Different way of getting the drivers without installing (or any other part of the stuff installed during the installation). Rightclick the setup.exe file and click extract to folder (Using your favorite archivingprogram, eg WinRAR or 7 Zip). The drivers can then be found here in the folder you just made: $_OUTDIR\driver If you dont have an archiving program installed, I already did it for you and uploaded a zipped version of the drivers folder here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GAIF6DVH edit: Clarified link description Edited December 24, 2009 by Hermg

Guest Hermg Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 (edited) The megaupload file is the zipped folder. Though the way I mentioned it, was a bit vague. :) Made a quick edit to the post to clarify the link. Edited December 24, 2009 by Hermg

Though I can understand the way I mentioned it, was a bit vague. :) Cheers Hermg - should have checked the upload, thought you were linking to an archiving program rather than the archive.
Guest Grudo Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 (edited) I'm having diferent problems. After reinstalling OS (Win7 x86) in the device manager there is no T-mobile Pulse as unknown device. Only one Unknown device in USB controllers. None of the drivers seem to work. Custom ROM was to big, and it took for ages Pulse to boot with ext partition on SD, so i decided to put a T-mobile stock 2,1 on it. Really thinking of downgrade back to 1,5. If anybody had a same problem, pls help. Edited December 6, 2010 by Grudo
Guest b1k3rdude Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) I have uploaded the CD file to multiupload, so we have more than one copy of the very rare data. - http://www.multiupload.com/5KLJWLKKCJ Edited November 21, 2011 by b1k3rdude
