Upgrade to 6.5 from 6.1

I've been searching for some information about if upgrading to 6.5 will erase all folders in my storage but so far couldn't find any confirmation. I remembered flashing 6.1 cooked roms did not erase them but am not so sure about this 6.5. Anyone knows exactly what has to back up before upgrading?

Thanks and I am back to play around with 6.5, any suggestion of a really stable fast lite rom with new goodies? Also all popular games and apps in 6.1 (even older wm) will work in 6.5?

It's exactly the same as flashing a 6.1 rom. I assume you have done so already. Use the MS MyPhone backup program or PIM and just select what you want to backup as it provides a list of thing that you can back up such as calenders, sms's, emails, contacts etc. Most apps should work fine in 6.5 though some have problems with 6.5.1 (one with the bigger bottom bar). The finger mouse is a no no with 6.5, it just doesn't really work.

Thank you for the fast reply :( . I use SPB backup so I hope the big leap to 6.5.x will do me good :D but still hoping for wm7, ahh just a few more months but why girls like iphone so much because I want to have the same wm for porting and knowing how.
