New memory card

Hi,

I do not have any important information stored on the memory card and today I will be getting 16gb one.

How should I go about replacing the old one. Phone is rooted but I didnt flash recovery image permanently.

I ve seen option in the hero somewhere to format memory card and Ive seen similiar option in recovery mode. Which one is correct?

Please advise what to do. Do I need to flash the ROM again after putting new memory card?
