why is it not possible to get an orginal 6.5 rom

i have been reading for a while and some other guys searching for the original 6.5 rom also but still no answer

at these request.

what is the problem with the original 6.5 rom

why is it so difficult to get it

from my part of view - i want the orginal rom

before my omnia went to repair i had to install the original 6.1 rom. i played with many roms before. but after the repair i got my

omnia back and was to lazy to install a customer rom. immediately i saw the difference in speed between the customer rom and

the original roms. sure, customer rom have more space and optimiced apps but still the original is faster. to open the sms windows up to 8 secodunds, to write a sms up to 5 seconds, go back to the main sms windows up to 10 secounds - looked like the custmer roms

have problems with refreshing. the original rom response immediately with the same amount of sms / round about 2000.

I don't belive Samsung has ever released a OFFICIAL 6.5 rom. As such, you want 6.5... you play with CUSTOM/COOKED (and not Customer, that's us) rom. You wan't OFFICIAL, you get 6.1

Would it be possible to cook a rom based on Official Omnia rom using 6.5.3, has anyone out there pulled it off.

I have flashed my i900 several times with cooked roms and find Ryrzy to be my favorite chef at the mo

but I would like to try a cooked copy of the official rom based on the newer wm6 versions, just for

comparisons.

Is there a Chef out there that already makes this type of rom?

Windows 6.5 was and will never be "officially" released on the Omnia i900. It was created for new phones so all the other stuff chefs put into it is to make it run faster and smoother with the latest features.

Plus why would you go back to 6.5 which was released for new phones when you can go to COM8 running 6.5.3 on your i900?????
