i know everyone (including me) searching a official kind a rom for our omnia for a long time

so here it is

similar to offcial rom (it has all defaul app. from omnia)

just hv to enable samsung dialer through registry entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin]

"Enabled"=dword:0, you should change to 1 and reboot your Omnia

and install newer google map application

nothing added (except 2 application i guess )

AND EVERYTHING REMAINS SAME...

JUST INSTALL GOOGLE MAP

AND ENABLE SAMSUNG DIALER

YOU CAN ALSO INSTALL SILVER INBOX WHICH IS WORKING GREAT

FOR TASK MANAGER INSTALL LG X BUTTON I HV CHANGED IT'S ICON ON TOP BAR JUST REPLACE THIS EXE FILE

i tried this rom for 2-3 days battery life is good

speed is average... not too fast(may be just bcoz it has all original application)

just mouse is not working

well i dont hv now

bcoz i hv flashed newer rom

but it's its memory and free device storage is almost same as DXIA5

this rom worth a try atleast

It is possibile to translate on other languages like italian?there is avaible some mui pack to install?When someone says that finger mouse doesn't works means that you can't use mouse icon but the pen still working?

I dont believe samsung will ever publish a working version of WM6.5!

I had full of trust to samsung before i bought this phone.

In my country they also said that omnia would be even capable all of the functions WM7.

I lost all my trust to samsung. Maybe the are good in TV or LCD's but their phone department totally sucks!

Its really shame, leaving omnia with no WM6.5, although the told 6.5 was comnig to omnia series..

not worth the flash... It's really plain, not to mention slow and it has no optimizations. If I were you, I'd stick to ROMs from the cookers in this forum

Yes, make sure you flash an i900 rom and not an i910. There's no "best" rom, just look at what each cook has added, kept, deleted and form your own opinion. Needless to say, each and every user will have their own opinion on what is the "best" rom.
