i900 headphones

Hi,i have lost the headphones that originally came with my i900.

I have purchased a set that i was told are quite suitable as replacements £10.00

Now i am unable to clearly pick up any radio stations (very bad reception),whereas before it was not a problem.

im at a loss where to try next.

The usual channels have been tried i.e the orange shop,samsung itself,..........and iv looked on ebay,

but im guessing they will be "quite compatible just like the last replacements"

If someone could point me in the right direction to get some "genuine" replacements...that really do the job...
