Need to return the phone - how to UNROOT?

Hello,

Get hero last week.

I have uploaded the rooted 2.73 T-mobile rom from modaco website and also flashed eu radio.

Unfortunately I need to send it back as I have no reception at work.

Do you advise to put it back to default settings I mean to original rom or if I could send it back as it is (are they going to find out - or maybe they do not care)?

I do not know how to put it back to default rom. I have kept original backup and didnt flash the recovery permanently.

Please advise how to do it safely.

They might not take it back rooted as I'm pretty sure that voids the warranty.

That said, if you download/run the rom update available from the HTC support site that should return it to it's original state and get rid of the custom rom, kernal, and fastboot stuff. (Device might be updated, but in a way that the phone co' won't mind).

no probs during or after
