Guest lignum1966 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Is there a known problem/fix with it taking forever to bring up the reply window when trying to reply to an sms with the standard Omnia I900 software ? When I go to new message it takes about 3-5 seconds or more for the window and keyboard to appear properly which is crap , but usable , but when I try to reply to an sms sent to me its just like the phone freezes for 30 to 60 seconds making it virtually useless . I've searched for similar threads without really finding anything relevant . Im using a classic 6.5 rom I flashed from Nicklashide , PDA DXID1/Hide14 according to my phone info version and the phone itself is XXIB2 which was in the phone when I got it a few weeks back. Sooo close to jumping up and down on this phone , makes a great navigator with IGO but it's near useless as a phone so far ! If I could afford another phone I would ditch this in a split second ! :D

Guest lignum1966 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I am using SmileySMS and not having any problems. It is free, try that. cheers , I have that so I'll try it . Dont really like Vito sms chat and I would like to get the normal one working properly again even if I dont use it as I want the problem solved . I'm currently uninstalling apps a few at a time then doing soft reboots to see if I can track it down to a particular program or game I must have installed (I had about 30 or more apps and more than 15 games installed). I also tried the sms fix cab file but that didnt make any difference . Cheers , Bazz.
Guest Muncheno Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Worst if you try to forward a MMS to someone. It will take ages..like 1-2minutes. BTW I m using WM 28005 now. Previously on 23612 and 23506 also having the same problem.
Guest WAIKIKI728 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 It will take ages..like 1-2minutes. Let´s try:http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general-omnia-rom-discussion/294404/sms-reply-bug-fix-6-5-1/ :D

Flashed a couple of different roms tonight , removed all the software I could this arbo to no avail as well ! I searched for ages but didn't use the term "sms reply bug" , typical lack of search engine skills (or imagination) on my behalf ! One thing at least , the last rom I flashed had a "nearly working" finger pad ! Having said that , I liked the rom I was using already better ! Oh well , such is life .

Guest Atamagaokashii Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 For those of you that will look, this is already cooked into Bgill/Evidence's ROM's - at least it is already on mine...
